About the Role
Access Control: Greet guests professionally while verifying identification to ensure all patrons meet legal age requirements and adhere to the venue’s dress code.
Crowd Management: Monitor guest flow and capacity levels to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone inside.
Conflict Resolution: De-escalate potential verbal or physical confrontations using professional communication techniques and minimal force only when absolutely necessary.
Safety Monitoring: Conduct regular walkthroughs of the venue to identify safety hazards, prohibited items, or suspicious behavior.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management, bar staff, and floor team to ensure seamless operations and immediate response to any incidents.
Incident Reporting: Maintain an accurate log of any ejections or significant incidents occurring during the shift.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred, particularly in a high-volume hospitality or nightlife environment.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods (6–8+ hours) and move quickly through crowded spaces.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain polite yet firm under pressure.
Reliability: Consistent availability for late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
